Start your day with a walk through a wild and narrow gorge of the river Radovna, Vingar gorge. The trail with paths, galleries and bridges, constructed in the rock, runs on a distance of 1,5 km.

Pokljuka is a high alpine foresty plateau at an altitude of around 1300 metres, being a part of Triglav national park. Many beech and fir trees were chopped down in the 18th century for the iron foundries in Bohinj. They have been naturally replaced mostly by spruce trees. Some swamps can be found here, which is not ordinary on such high plateaus. Pokljuka is also known for its winter sports facilities, among which are the yearly Biathlon World Cup held at Biathloncenter Pokljuka. It attracts many visitors who want to get some fresh mountain air and do some sport as well.
